SoHive, LLC (“SoHive”) values its user’s privacy. This privacy policy governs your use of the SoHive virtual meeting application and website (together, “Technology”), and will help you understand how we collect and use personal information from those who use our Technology. 


What information does the Technology obtain and how is it used? 

1. User Provided Information 

From your registration and use of the Technology, and integration with our customer’s websites, we obtain information including, but not limited to your name, telephone, email address, city, state, user name and password, transaction- related information, such as when you make purchases, respond to any offers, or download or use the application; information you provide us when you contact us for help; information provided during the use of our chat feature; credit card information for purchase and use of the application.

We may also use the information you provided us to contact your from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions. 

2. Automatically Collected Information 

In addition, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, the name of the domain from which you access the Internet, the date and time you access our site, and the Internet address of the website you used to link directly to our site, and information about the way you use the Technology. 


How do we use the User Provided and Automatically Collected Information?

We may use the information that we collect to operate the Technology, provide general statistics regarding use of the Technology, process transactions, improve the design and performance of the Technology, and create similar products. 


Does the Technology collect precise real time location information of the device? 

This Technology does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device, but we may collect information regarding your city, state and country. 


Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Technology?

Third Parties 

1. The Technology may use third parties such as network advertisers to serve advertisements on the Technology and may use traffic measurement services to analyze traffic on the Technology. Network advertisers are third parties that display advertisements based on your engagement with the Technology. Third-party ad serving enables us to target advertisements to you for products and services in which you might be interested. The Technology's third-party ad network providers, the advertisers, the sponsors and/or traffic measurement services may themselves set and access their own cookies on your computer if you choose to have cookies enabled in your browser and track certain behavioral information regarding users of your computer via a device identifier. These third-party cookies are set to, among other things: (i) help deliver advertisements to you that you might be interested in; (ii) prevent you from seeing the same advertisements too many times; and (iii) understand the usefulness to you of the advertisements that have been delivered to you. Note that any images (or any other parts of a web page) served by third parties in association with third party cookies may serve as web beacons, which enable third parties to carry out the previously described activities. Third party cookies and web beacons are governed by each third party's specific privacy policy, not this one.

Our Technology may link to or contain links to other third-party websites and applications that we do not control or maintain, such as in connection with purchasing products referenced on our Technology and banner advertisements. We are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by any third-party websites or applications. We encourage you to note when you leave our Technology and to read the privacy statements of all third-party websites and applications before submitting any personally identifiable information. 


Payment Information 

We may in certain cases collect certain payment information when an individual places an order for the Technology. When such information is submitted to us, we use SSL encryption software. We will use the payment information for purposes of processing and completing the purchase transaction, and such information will be disclosed to third parties only as necessary to complete the purchase transaction.


What are my opt-out rights? 

You can stop all collection of information by the application easily by uninstalling the application and no longer visiting the website. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application. You can also request to opt-out via email, at info@sohive.com. 


Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information 

We retain both User Provided and Automatically Collected Information. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Technology, please contact us at info@sohive.com we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Technology to function properly. 


Public Forums                                            

We may offer chat rooms, message boards, bulletin boards, or similar public forums where you and other users of our Technology can communicate. The protections described in this Privacy Policy do not apply when you provide information (including personal information) in connection with your use of these public forums. We may use personally identifiable and non-personal information about you to identify you with a posting in a public forum. Any information you share in a public forum is public information and may be seen or collected by anyone, including third parties that do not adhere to our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for events arising from the distribution of any information you choose to publicly post or share through our Technology.


Security 

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches. 


Changes 

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on our website and may inform you via email or text message. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Technology, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.


Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age without parental consent. Our Technology is not directed to or intended for children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not provide personally identifiable information of any kind.


California Privacy Rights 

Residents of the State of California, under certain provisions of the California Civil Code, have the right to request from companies conducting business in California a list of all third parties to which the company has disclosed certain personally identifiable information as defined under California law during the preceding year for third party direct marketing purposes.
